Our facilities have been in place since 2000 and our owner has been involved in fitness along the Emerald Coast between Destin and Scenic 30-A since 1994.

Grayton Beach Fitness is a fully-equipped fitness facility with 24-hour access available offering personal training, athletic conditioning, weight loss, fitness evaluations, body composition assessments, consultations, orientations, blood pressure checks, Pilates, circuit training, and BOOTCAMP classes.

Paul Hunter, B.S., C.S.C.S., MATjs, FMS
Owner, Personal Trainer, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Muscle Activation Techniques Jumpstart (MATjs), Functional Movement Screen (FMS)
Since 1990, Paul's personal training career has taken him from Connecticut, the Reebok Corporate Wellness facility in Massachusetts, graduation from Springfield College, to Director of Exercise for Sportslife in Atlanta, and finally settling here on the Emerald Coast in 1994. Since then, Paul has had numerous roles, including Director of Personal Training for MM Personal Training, National Presenter for Resist-A-Ball and Bowflex, teaching the biomechanics curriculum, Fitness Director at TOPS'L Beach and Racquet Resort to running his Personal Training business in a local gym to purchasing Grayton Beach Fitness in 2004. In that time, he has traveled nationally seeking continuing education from our industry leaders.

Debbie has been involved in sports and fitness most of her life from playing soccer and being a varsity cheerleader to teaching water aerobics and just about any class format you can think of; she has brought her professionalism, knowledge, and energy to individuals and groups alike.

Since graduating college with her degree in Exercise Science, Heather has infused her clients with her passion for exercise and feeling right. She obtained her personal trainer certification from the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and a specialty certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). She can be seen around Grayton Beach Fitness leading her clients, teaching BOOTCAMP, Yoga, or just about any other group exercise class with a big smile.

Since graduating college with her degree in Exercise Science, Katie has infused her clients with her passion for exercise and feeling right. Sharon Varnes
Personal Trainer, Group Exercise Instructor
Sharon has served in the health and wellness industry since 2002 and is an American Council on Exercise (ACE) Certified Personal Trainer and Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) Certified Group Fitness Instructor. Sharon is passionate about helping others feel at ease in the gym and making fitness fun with group fitness and small group personal training.
